I was irritated at work because I had asked to be told if they wanted me to work tonight, and no one contacted me so I assumed no. In the end I was glad to go because I finally got to meet someone. I’d seen him from a distance and I’d heard his voice before, but he’s friends with my roommate and I’ve heard a lot about him. He sounded like an awesome guy and I wanted to meet him, mostly because I want to extend my friend base a little. Well, he came through, and I had seen enough of him to recognize him, but I discovered something kind of intimidating. I find him to be really cute. Like, I want to hug, cuddle, and kiss you, and if you’re up to it maybe we can like, yeah type cute. I was smiling the rest of the night, because now I’m gonna pester my roommate into setting up a hookah party with him :3
I need some angry sex to help me get over my issues right now. Anyone want to come over with a spreader bar and a whip?

I decided to finally make the commitment to switching to a milk alternative since I can’t seem to give up cheese for long. I got some almond milk and soy milk to try them both out. I’ve had the original’s before, so I went with the vanilla, and I must say I do like them much better. This won’t be as hard as I thought it would be. I’ll probably stick with the almond milk though since I like the flavor better and the aftertaste is more pleasant.
Also, I’m really annoyed that “Fifty Shades of Grey” is getting so popular. This is very hipster of me, but I read that sometime last summer. I actually thought that it was a different book, but no such luck. Someone’s gonna get excited by this and want to try it out but hurt themselves or someone else because they didn’t do their fucking research. Just waiting for it.

The above article is an update. Her mother went to appeal to keep her out of the psychiatric ward and lost. She will be institutionalized because of her expression of her gender. She will be held until she conforms to male gender and then released to foster care, not her mother who was supporting her.
Please, if you haven’t signed the petition, sign it, reblog it, ask your friends to sign it. We’ve managed to get 40K signatures for a pageant model, we’ve only gotten 11K for a little girl about to have her life ruined. Lets get on the ball and spread the word.

WHY THE FUCK AREN’T PEOPLE REBLOGGING THIS??
An update on the petition page itself states that the institution will not take in the child without her own consent and her mother’s consent. The institution does not consider this to be a viable court decision (the court itself doesn’t have the power to directly institutionalize the child), so it won’t take action even if the father tries to commit her. That was the update as of April, and there is no more-recent update on the site.

This kind of attitude in advertising and the media is pretty one-sided: the target is almost exclusively women who are effectively told they are too ugly unless they buy into certain products or services, ranging from hair removal to diets to tanning creams and so on.
